Comparing the Events of the Mayan Calendar and Scripture

As time is continuing in this age and with the world events that they are, it is very helpful and consoling that we can see revealed information from various sources dovetailing to the same time frame. Here are a few synchronistic events from the Scriptures that correspond to the Mayan Calendar.

The Coming of the Christ (Christ Consciousness)

Understand that we can be very aware of these present times as to when certain events can happen. Scripture is given to men to help them understand themselves and the universe that they live in. Consider the scripture that says in response to Jesus' apostles who ask when he will return: "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father" (Matt 24:36). This is a phrase in Hebrew that is idiomatic of the feast of Yom Teruah, the day just before Rosh HaShannah. So, when Jehoshua (Jesus) says this, it means very specifically that he (his Christ consciousness) would return on Rosh HaShannah. But we do not know the year! Or do we?

Rosh HaShannah occurring in 2006, will occur on September,22th of 2006 and this is the Night #4 of the Galactic Cycle which is understood as the time of the coming of the Christ consciousness. It is the time just before the dawn of the Day #5 in which is understood the time of the New Consciousness. Interestingly, we have a target date, but the events of that time are yet to be seen and are they yet clear as to their action. As we get closer to that time, we will have a better understanding as to the events.

When does the Tribulation (preparation for Christ Consciousness) begin?

There are many people that have tried over time to pin point the time of various events of scripture, especially the "rapture", the coming of the Christ, Armageddon and such events. Scripture can be taken literally for many understandings but not to define dates. This kind of information has been concealed by G_d so that it would be revealed at the right time and to the right people, those who were open to a higher consciousness. So, let's consider the Book of Revelations written by John, the Apostle. In chapter 12, we read about: "A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads. His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days." (Revelation 12:1-5)

Remember that God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years." Bereshit (Genesis) 1:14

On 1999 September 12 (Tishre 2, 5760, the Hebrew date), when I first saw the astronomical star chart, I immediately thought of the Revelation 12 sign. The woman in the scriptural passage above refers to the constellation of Virgo. This constellation moves along the ecliptic (as do the sun, moon, and the planets) and is in the position of going head down into the horizon. Thus, if the constellation of Virgo arrives at the horizon just after the sun has gone down (clothed in the sun) the constellation would have the sun above "her" head. . This sign would not be visible if the sun were to be above the horizon. The constellation of Coma Bernice is the crown of twelve stars above the young woman's head. So, we have identified the "sign" that appears in Revelation 12. Also the point of reference must be Jerusalem.

But for this sign to match all the criteria of Revelation 12, the moon, along the ecliptic, must be directly in such a position that the moon is poised in the "birth canal" of the virgin who is lying down with her feet in the air; the moon is 'new' and after 'birth', the moon will move directly to the feet of Bethulah (Virgo, the young woman) within 24 hours. The moon here refers to the Messiah or the Christ consciousness. And since the coming of the Christ consciousness must appear on the feast of Yom Teruah, the day just before Rosh HaShannah, so the position of the constellation Virgo must be in the above described condition on a specific day with all criteria met. Also, since this must be a day of great importance, it must be a "High Holiday" in Jewish celebration, that is, the day is not only Rosh HaShannah but a Sabbath as well. As it turns out there is only one day in all of history that this could happen and that was on the 12th day of September of 1999. I scanned forward and backward two thousand years and found no other time when all these criterion would occur. If you have an astronomical computer program you can check this out for yourself. The astronomical program should be set up for viewing from Jerusalem, Israel. Lavanah, the moon, represents Messiah (the Christ consciousness) in this unique astronomical event. This particular positioning of the mazzaroth (constellation) Bethulah, the young woman, about to give 'birth' to the moon (the Messiah), has never occurred before, and will never occur again, due to the precession of the equinoxes. Actually, if you believe that the earth is older than 26,000 years, then that is when this sign would have last occurred. If you believe that the earth will endure for another than 26,000 years, then that is when this sign will next occur. But not even then because the stars that make up the constellations will have changed and the constellations will no longer exist as we now know them. Remember that there are six unrelated events that are occurring on the exact same day. Figure the probability of that!

Thus, on the Day #1 of the Mayan Calendar in the Galactic Cycle, we are given the sign of the coming of the Christ consciousness. "Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore, My tabernacle also shall be with them." Ezekiel 37:20-28

According to divine astrology, the verses in Revelation 12:1-6 indicate symbols announcing the time at which these things told in Revelations, would occur. "......and she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered......", in Hebrew, this is called Chevlei HaMashiach and refers to a time of great testing for the nations of the earth, also called the period of the Tribulation. In other verses, e.g., Isaiah 66:7, the son or man child is not given by the Hebrew word Ben but rather zakhar which literally means "to remember, to bring to mind to bring to remembrance" The remembrance is one of G_d's promises: the "son of the remembered promise" who is Jehoshua, the one bringing the Christ consciousness. The Dragon referred to here seeks to devour this remembrance (of the Christ consciousness) from the believers on the earth that they might forget the promises of the Christ and lose the light of this power. This Dragon is our own ego!
